The voices in my head

I was going to write to you and let you know how you make me feel sadly the words seem to disappear and all am left with is ‘you’

I won’t lie,but am not sure if that’s a good or bad thing should ‘you’ be enough to measure up the Joy you bring to my life?

Should ‘you’ be enough to explain How I would be up all night just to catch a conversation with you?

Should ‘you’ be enough to explain why am safe in your hands?

Should ‘you’ be enough reason to make my smile brighten the darkest night?

Should ‘you’ be enough to explain why am with you and not them?

Tell me honestly should ‘you’ be enough to make the world colorful again?

Should ‘you’ be enough reason to finally let my guard down and demons free?

Should ‘you’ be the reason am willing to try this love thing?

Honestly am not sure why but all I could think of was ‘you’

‘Do you still write?’they asked,

In my head…there is a lot I can talk about,a lot I could write about,but am scared to put it out there afraid they might get to interact with my thoughts and finally get a chance to share their unpopular opinion,afraid to show how vulnerable I am,afraid to un mask what I really feel.

“No I don’t but I’ll let you know as soon as am back at it.”I reply with a crooked smile
